5D Solar City AG is a Swiss-based venture capital and technology company headquartered in Lugano, with an Asset Management office in London. Founded in 2018 after three years of feasibility studies, the company designs and implements next-generation solar energy systems and fully integrated Solar Smart City ecosystems.
The company pioneered the concept of the first fully integrated Solar Smart City, implemented through Solar Smart City Zanzibar Ltd (incorporated December 2021). The model is now expanding across Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Bulgaria, Italy, and the Mediterranean.
Our philosophy is built on three principles: 100% Green Finance, Zero Carbon Dioxide Emissions, and alignment with all 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
